NO GREATER LOVE

God, what manner of man are you?

what kind of love is this?

regardless of my flaws, despite all my wickedness, in spite of my sins and defects,

you root for me, you care for and love me.

you punch-break the question that stroke dead silence in paradise, broke the bounds of heaven,

you came to these desolate earth, suffered, tortured, pierced, bled and was left for dead on the cross.

What love could be greater than these?

What beauty is hidden on these desolate earth that it would invite the presence of the Son of Righteousness?

what did man do to deserve this kinda love?

why would an uncreated creator choose to die for a sinful creature?

I can't believe this; I just can't believe this is all love, true love that transcends the pathetic understanding of mankind.

There is no love, no love like this one

that a King would lay down his life in humiliation,

the only price for the remission of his own.

you sit in the heavens, the earth your footstool,

general overseer, the architect of time.

you never let me go, even when I stray, you keep sending me love letter.

my lover, your love for me is enormous.

Dear God, there's nothing I can do or say that'll suffice, for the heavens, earth and everything therein is yours.

So, with a heart full of praise & a tank full of gratitude, I come to you.

thank you for your love, thank you for your grace,

thank you for Jesus, thank you for being God.

Thank you for the cross, thank you for your sacrifice, thank you for your sin- cleansing Blood that can never loose it's power.
