FOUNTAIN ON A ROCKY MOUNTAIN
Life can be less than rose,
It can be as hard as, drilling through a mountain, with hammer and chisel in the hope of creating a path,
Especially, when you're from a poor background.
The rich make meal with electric gas and stuff, but the average man cooks with firewood and charcoal, most barely can afford kerosene, not to talk of buying a gas cooker.
And sometimes, no food at all.
All the same, momma would say, "Breathe, everything will soon be good"
She would say, " always trust in God "
Give him thanks and praise whenever you should;
Though life is tough, but momma never fails to handout in the little ways she could,
Always offering a shoulder to lean when no one would.
Doesn't matter how bad things get, she never sound off or complain,
She said, The Almighty, will our life sustain,
His our strength and provider, He won't let us waste in vain.
She will always say, son, the Almighty, will in no time, turn our dry stream bed, into a fountain on a rocky mountain.
