BELOVED

 Beloved, this ain't a poem, but a love letter from me to you, 

I can't find the right words to conjure,

for the love I have for you is deeper than the depths of the ocean,

no words can convey this typa love.

A love so precious, a love so true,

a love that comes from me to you.

The angels assemble and sing when you're near,

when am beside you, I have nothing to fear.

You got this sense of humor, you always know what to say,

talking to you makes my day.

Beloved, I love you, I so do, with my whole heart,

if wishes were horses, I'd wish to be with you, together forever never to part.

I so wish you could see yourself through my lens,

my God! you're exalted above the highest bens.

You're like the sun that radiates throughout the day,

the gravity that holds me down in every way,

you're the moon that shimmers through the dark night,

a star that glimmer wonderful light.

Beloved, you are the oxygen that keeps me alive,

the heart that beats inside, you make me feel like I've arrived. 

you're the blood that flows through me,

my dear, you're the only girl I can see.

You have the voice of when a mockingbird sings,

you're peculiar and unique, a different breed, no wonder you stand before kings.

Again, this is not a birthday poem, for poems can only be written by poets.

I may or may not be a poet, but am doing what most prolific poets can't do.

Hey, I write you this words just to tell you that you're my one and only,

with you around, I can never be lonely.

Oh shit!

I almost forgot today is your birthday,

can't afford not to celebrate this great day,

the day earth with a wide open arms, received a big bae.

Omo! I think am outta words already,

so, without further ado, I wanna wish you a big, gigantic and mammoth Happy Cake-Day!!!
