THE DEMON IN ME

Everyday I wake up to keep my demons in check,

I fight to keep them in their place,

Coz only by facing your demons can you stop them from having power over you.

I know I gotta be careful,

Because there's something self destructive within me.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

That's where my demons hide.

There is a hell inside of me,

It's where the fiend in me reside.

Once I was an angel craving chaos.

Now I'm a demon seeking peace.

Hilarious right? Yeah I know...

I stopped looking for monsters under the bed when I realize they are actually within me.

In every angel, a demon hides

And in every demon, an angel strides.

I keep trying to be the good guy,

Tryna maintain balance, but

An angel with a broken heart is a devil in the end.

I don't have any circle, I loathe all my friends, probably because,

Their spirits irritates my demons,

And their presence pisses it off.

Hey! You think I like being alone...?

With no friends or someone to love?

I deserted you, coz I wouldn't want to cause you any pain, or hurt you

It's really hard for me, you know.

I'm both the hell and the devil,

My demons have no joy.

I'm a daemon, a fallen one,

But don't think I've lost my nature,

Don't consider my kindness as weakness,

Coz if you push me, I just might unleash.

Don't get me mad, for in my

wrath I'm ruthless.
