DEAR MOM
Dear Mom, everything you did was worth it
All the sacrifices taken when the picture wasn't perfect,
I could see it in your face when I was young
your burdens and burthens.
I remember when I was bedridden no money for medication
You took to the streets begging door to door,
You used to say "Hang on son don't be weary God got you, you're made for more".
I remember when you whop my ass
I was sad and mad while you prepared me for class,
we used to argue now I know you were right
Your words and sacrifices made me saw the light.
I remember you prayed all night, eyes closed with both feet on the ground, you pray
that I'll never be a prey
Hectic day and feverish night
The things you do for love.
You cooked and kept me fed,
pushed me hard I couldn't be stagnant
You kept me calm despite the madness
How can I forget that.
You held me in your stomach despite all the pain and the stress,
Can't neglect, made the bridge for my success, dedicated all your time to make sure that I did my best.
Dear Mom, I hope you know this is Son,
I hope you know this is my appreciation Song;
I hope you know I know you did your best
And every single step you took was to ensure I never did no wrong.
I hope you know I love you and can't no body stop it,
it's infinite and there beyond
My love for you can stretch across the sea
And even light up a galaxy.
All I tryna say can't nobody turn it off.
Dear Mom, Thank you is not enough you the reason why I'm alive, strong and can't give up.
All the things you did I never saw you stop
That's why even when I'm tired I keep going cos know I must work to ensure you get the life you deserve.
Mom, ain't no seven star hotel in the world that can equate the comfort level of your lap.
So I say thank you for the times that feels like Heaven on Earth,
I know I can't repay you I just wanna say I'm grateful for the memories, love and always caring for me.
Dear Mom, I hope you take this words
Ain't nothing in the globe that can ever question your worth.
For all your pain and your hurt,
For all your struggle and work,
Mom, for giving me breath I wanna say...
Dear Mom, this is a letter from your Son
For all your sacrifices I know it wasn't fun,
For all the weights you were carrying I know they probably weighted tons.
So I write this piece to say Thank You For All That You've Done
