If I could paint, with brush strokes I could show you how I feel;

with colors, light and texture,

I'd prove my feeling is real.

If I could fly, I'd soar so high

grazing heaven above,

trailing a giant banner:

MABEL is the one I love!

I sure can't do those, but I can do this:

I can pen you poems

I can paint your sky with stellar words,

I can bake you cake of splendiferous spices,

spices that consist of Rhymes, Rhythms and magnificent metaphors.

With my words I can hug you tight and say,
